Blood smear

Blood smear is the basic method of blood cytology examination and is widely used. It is especially valuable for the diagnosis of various blood diseases. However, the poor preparation and staining of blood films often makes it difficult to identify cells and even lead to incorrect conclusions. For example, excessively thick blood cells overlap and shrink, and blood cells are too thin. White blood cells are mostly concentrated at the edges; well-stained blood films are one of the main basic techniques for hematological examination.
