Cervical mucus examination
Cervical mucus is a secretion of the cervical glands. Under the influence of ovarian sex hormones, women of childbearing age with normal ovarian function have periodic changes in physical and chemical properties of cervical mucus. Clinically, cervical mucus examination was used to observe changes in cervical mucus crystals and mucus drawing tests to understand ovarian function.
