Anti-AIDS antibody
Infection with human immunodeficiency virus causes AIDS, that is, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). There are two types of this virus, HIV-I. Global epidemic; HIV-II is prevalent in Africa. The routine application method is to measure HIV antibodies. The detection methods include enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), gelatin particle agglutination test (PA), and Western Blot test (WB) for diagnosis.
