Retroperitoneal hemorrhage
Hemorrhage in Retroperitoneal Space is one of the complications of severe abdominal injury. Because it is often covered by abdominal internal organ damage or other areas (such as brain, chest, spine, limbs and pelvis), it is easy to be misdiagnosed. It is difficult to diagnose, and severe cases can be life-threatening. It has been reported that the mortality rate is as high as 42%.
