Ileocecal syndrome
Ileocecal syndrome, also known as granulocytopenic bowel disease, granulocytopenic enterocolitis, is also known as leukemia with cecumitis. Patients with leukemia and other hematological malignancies, such as malignant lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anemia, and periodic neutropenia, can have this symptom. Lesions can affect the terminal ileum, cecum, appendix, and right colon. Clinical manifestations are fever, abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, bloody stools, nausea, and vomiting during granulocytopenia.
