Hereditary methemoglobinemia

Methemoglobin (MetHb) is produced by red blood cells after genetic factors or absorption of toxic compounds, and its content exceeds a certain level can cause methemoglobinemia (methemoglobinemia), which is divided into two categories: acquired and hereditary.
