Juvenile polyp

Juvenile polyp, also known as simple polyps, or retention polyps, occurs mostly in the age of 2 to 10 years, and is more common in boys. The incidence is high, accounting for about 80% of pediatric polyps. It is a benign glandular granuloma, which can heal by itself, and no cases of malignant change have been seen.
