Small cell ovarian cancer
Primary small cell ovarian cancer is a very rare, highly malignant tumor often associated with hypercalcemia. The tissue development of small cell ovarian cancer is still a mystery, because this kind of epithelial nature of relatively small tumor cells and ultrastructure (desmosome-like junction, basement membrane). Therefore, this non-specific small cell carcinoma is named temporarily, and the exact histological nomenclature needs further exploration by pathologists.
