Acute mediastinitis
Mediastinitis is a bacterial infection in the mediastinum, divided into acute and chronic. Abscesses often form in acute mediastinitis, and the condition is severe. Chronic mediastinitis is mostly granulomatous, often caused by primary tuberculosis or histiocytosis infection, with slow onset and often asymptomatic. During X-ray examination, it was found that a small number of patients can also be caused by obstruction or compression caused by the disease. Corresponding symptoms and signs occur.
