Cortisolism in pregnancy
Cortisol syndrome, also known as Cushing syndrome, is the most common form of adrenal hyperfunction. Mainly due to the excessive secretion of cortisol hormones by the adrenal cortex, causing a series of pathological changes, a disease that occurs. More common in young people 20 to 40 years old, more common in women. Cortisolism in pregnancy is extremely rare, and most patients terminate their pregnancy with miscarriage, premature or stillbirth.
