Cutaneous leiomyoma

Cutaneous leiomyoma (leiomyoma cutis) is a benign tumor composed of skin neutral hair muscle, sarcolemma, or vascular wall smooth muscle. Skin smooth muscles are rare, mainly found in the hairy muscles near the hair follicles, muscle fibers around the deep subcutaneous blood vessels, and smooth muscle bundles in the scrotum and labia. Therefore, leiomyomas often occur on the neck, sides of limbs, and perineum.
