Delayed skin porphyria

Delayed skin porphyria (porphyria cutanea tarda. PCT) is both an inherited disease and an acquired disease. Named by Wald Ensnstrom for the first time in 1937, it is clinically characterized by photosensitive dermatitis, facial hairiness, skin scars, roughness, thickening, and pigmentation changes. Porphyria disease without neuropathy, and some patients have liver damage. It is generally believed that the disease is caused by the combination of various acquired factors on the basis of hereditary background.
