Menopausal pelvic organ prolapse

The pelvic organs are shifted forward or downward from their normal positions, called pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Traditional classifications are uterine prolapse, bladder bulge, and rectal bulge. Now more and more attention is paid to urethral prolapse, intestinal prolapse and perineal prolapse.
