Acute suppurative tenosynovitis
The normal face tenosynovitis of the hand is mostly caused by deep stab wound infection, and it can also occur from the spread of infection in nearby tissues. The pathogenic bacteria are mostly Staphylococcus aureus. Infection of the tendon sheath of the dorsal digit of the hand is rare.
