Dry eczema
Dry eczema is an allergic inflammation of the skin. More common in thin infants. Symptoms occur on the scalp, between the eyebrows, etc., and show flushing, scaling, pimples, and no obvious exudation. It can also be slightly infiltrated and hypertrophic when it is chronic, with cleft palate, scratches, or hemorrhoids. Frequent itching often causes babies to cry and sleep upset.
