Anterior teeth anastomosis
The anomalous relationship between the upper and lower teeth of the upper and lower dental arches can be manifested as mandibular protrusion, mesial and anterior teeth recombination. Mostly due to poor breastfeeding position, premature teeth retention or premature loss, congenital absence of upper permanent incisors, poor habits, insufficient wear of the deciduous canine, systemic diseases and hereditary mandibular protrusion. Depending on the degree, anterior teeth recombination may occur, and molars are neutral. In severe cases, anterior teeth recombination, posterior mesial anterior, and mandibular anterior processes coexist.
