Chronic renal anemia
Because of various organic kidney diseases, anemia caused by chronic renal failure is called chronic renal anemia. In chronic renal failure, the exocrine and endocrine functions of the kidney are reduced or lost. The pathogenesis of anemia is complicated. The clinical anemia is often masked by the primary kidney disease. It is easy to be ignored by clinicians in the early stage of the disease.
