Extrapyramidal diseases

Movement disorders are also called extrapyramidal diseases, which mainly manifest voluntary motor regulation dysfunction without affecting muscle strength, sensation, and cerebellar function. This group of diseases originates from dysfunction of the basal nucleus, and are usually divided into two categories: increased muscle tone-decreased exercise and reduced muscle tone-excessive exercise. The former is characterized by poor exercise and the latter mainly shows abnormal involuntary movement.
