Skull defect
Skull defect refers to a series of clinical symptoms caused by skull defect due to open brain injury, firearm penetrating injury, etc. It is a common sequelae after traumatic brain injury in patients. Because brain tissue loses the barrier function of the normal skull and is easily injured, and skull defects can cause various symptoms and affect appearance, cranioplasty is often required.
