Maxillary sinus polyp
Posterior maxillary sinus polyp is a polyp that originates in the maxillary sinus, has a slender pedicle, and protrudes backward from the nostril. This polyp has its own pathological and clinical characteristics, and it is generally believed that it may be another polyp lesion different from general nasal polyps. The disease is more common in adolescents and there is no difference in incidence between men and women.
