Pharyngitis
Pharyngitis is inflammation of the mucous membranes of the pharynx, submucosa, and is often part of upper respiratory infections. According to the length of the disease and the nature of pathological changes, it is divided into acute pharyngitis, acute simple pharyngitis, chronic pharyngitis, chronic simple pharyngitis, hypertrophic pharyngitis, atrophic pharyngitis, viral pharyngitis, streptococcal pharyngitis, and gonococcal pharyngitis.
