Primary reading epilepsy

Primary reading epilepsy is a benign partial epilepsy mainly associated with the temporal parietal region of the dominant hemisphere of the language, with a high genetic predisposition. The age of onset is 12-25 years, and male patients are 1.8 times that of females. Almost only after reading or reading the spectrum for a certain period of time, abnormal feelings and movements such as stiffness, numbness, and tightness appear on the tongue, throat, lips, and face and other parts related to reading or speaking. Objective findings are localized myoclonus, some of which can be depleted into secondary generalized seizures.
