Scalp pustular erosive dermatosis

Erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp is a rare non-infectious pustular dermatosis. It was first reported and named by Pye in 1979. They reported 6 cases, which were characterized by: ① occurring in older women; ② pustules, erosions, crusted chronic lesions of the scalp, often accompanied by scarring alopecia; ③ no special abnormalities in laboratory tests, histopathological findings were non-specific Heterosexual skin atrophy and chronic inflammatory changes; ④ antibiotic treatment is ineffective, but topical corticosteroids are effective.
