Dystonia
Dystonia is a group of symptoms caused by repeated involuntary movements and abnormally twisted postures caused by the uncoordinated, intermittent and continuous contraction of the coordinated and antagonist muscles of the body's skeletal muscles. It is also called dystonic syndrome. The tension of the disease is not noticeable, but the abnormal posture and involuntary change of movement are noticeable. It has torsional properties, including twists of the thoracolumbar and / or upper limbs of the neck and / or torso, overextension or flexion of the feet. Such abnormal postures often change slowly involuntarily. It can be fixed in a certain position for a period of time, then changed to another abnormal position, intermittently repeated. All disappeared after sleep. Torsion spasm and spastic torticollis are just two clinical types of dystonia.
