Acute ovarian and fallopian tube torsion
Normal fallopian tubes and ovaries are extremely mobile and can be rotated without symptoms. If complete reversal occurs without timely diagnosis and treatment, it can cause necrosis of the appendix or even gangrene, leading to serious consequences such as peritonitis. For children and young patients to preserve their normal reproductive function, a clear diagnosis should be made early.
