Syphilitic scleritis

Syphilitic scleritis can occur in the first, second, and third stages of syphilis. The incidence of syphilis in scleritis patients is reported to be 2.89%, and scleritis can be the initial manifestation of syphilis. Syphilis (syphilis) is a subacute to chronic infectious disease caused by Treponema pallidum. Syphilis is mainly transmitted through sexual contact, blood and placenta, and is extremely harmful.
