Congenital megacolon in children
Congenital megacolon (Hirschsprung's disease) is caused by continuous spasm of the intestine in the rectum or the distal end of the colon, and fecal stasis in the proximal colon, which causes the intestine to dilate and become thick, which is a common gastrointestinal malformation in children. Statistics abroad show that the incidence of this disease is one in every 5,000 people. Domestic statistics account for the second place in gastrointestinal malformations. The first visit was mostly in the neonatal period, and about 90% of the patients were boys.
