Radiation heart damage
Radiation heart damage refers to myocardial disease caused by radiation from radioactive materials. Human and animal hearts exposed to radiation have varying degrees of pathological changes. Damaged areas including the pericardium, epicardium, endocardium, and even heart valves, as well as damage to the conduction system and coronary arteries, can easily cause radioactive heart damage.
