Jock itch

Jock itch is a skin disease caused by fungus infection on the inner thigh, perineum, and buttocks. Jock itch fungus can be transmitted through underwear, bath towels, etc., or through sexual life. Therefore, jock itch is also included in sexually transmitted diseases. But clinically more than 80% of jock itch is transmitted through non-sexual intercourse. The pathogens that cause jock itch in China are mainly Trichophyton rubrum and Plasmophyton trichophyton, Trichophyton floccus Epidermophyton and a few Candida albicans.
