Senile pneumonia

Elderly pneumonia often lacks obvious respiratory symptoms. The symptoms are atypical, the disease progresses quickly, and it is easy to miss or misdiagnose. According to reports in the literature, the "missed rate" of pneumonia confirmed by pathology but clinically undiagnosed is 3.3% -61.4%; the "misdiagnosis rate" seen by clinical diagnosis of pneumonia without corresponding pathology is 10.8% -39.3%.
