Staphylococcal food poisoning
It is caused by eating food contaminated with enterotoxins produced by staphylococci. Clinical features are rapid onset, severe vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal symptoms, and severe cases can lead to dehydration and collapse. Most patients disappeared after 1 or 2 days and recovered quickly.
