Bacillus cereus food poisoning

It is caused by eating enterotoxin produced by Bacillus cereus. Contaminated foods are mainly various types of foods with high starch content. Clinically, vomiting and diarrhea are the main features. The condition is mild and the course is short, generally not more than 12h. Usually the highest incidence is in summer and autumn (June-October).
