Ringworm
Tinea corporis are superficial fungal infections on smooth skin other than the hands, feet, perineum and thighs caused by dermatophytes. The so-called round tinea, ringworm tinea, and psoriasis in Chinese medicine are similar to this disease category. Such as "Essays on the Sources of Diseases": "The symptoms of ringworm are round, hidden from each other, the sides are red, and itching is also a problem, and there are insects inside." Another example is the ringworm record: "Symptoms of ringworm, the flesh is faint like Qian Wen, gradually grows, or round or oblique, itching has Kuang Guo, such as worms, crickets have juice." TCM believes that ringworm is a rheumatic evil, which is unreasonable, or caused by contact with unclean objects.
