Residual ovary syndrome
Residual ovarian syndrome refers to a group of symptoms after the vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy of bilateral ovaries, the recurrence of functional ovarian tissue, and the generation of symptoms and signs such as pelvic pain or mass. Pathological observation after surgery confirmed that the ovarian tissue was present in the patients with ovarian tissue at the place where there should be no ovarian tissue.
