Abrasion
Chronic abrasion of tooth hard tissue due to pure mechanical friction is called abrasion. Uniform and appropriate wear is of great significance to the health of periodontal tissue. For example, because the tooth tip is worn, the pressure from the side during chewing is reduced, and the shape of the tooth tip and the function of the periodontal tissue are adapted to each other. In addition, the wear of the crown can reduce the length of the clinical crown and maintain the coordination of the crown root length, so as not to overload the periodontal tissue due to leverage.
