Hashimoto's thyroiditis
Hashimoto thyroiditis (Hashimoto thyroiditis), also known as chronic lymphocytic thy-roiditis, lymphoid goiter, is also commonly called Hashimoto's inflammation. Hashimoto (1912) originally based on histological characteristics First reported, so also known as Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Hashimoto's disease, is an autoimmune disease. In the 1950s, Fromm (1953) found that the value of gamma globulin in the patient's serum increased. Roitt et al. (1956) detected thyroid autoantibodies in the patient's serum, suggesting that the disease may be the result of an autoimmune reaction. Cellular thyroiditis is also known as autoimmune thyroiditis.
