Tumor compression
Tumor cell infiltration, tumor block compression, hypercalcemia, hyperviscosity syndrome, amyloidosis, and mechanical compression caused by pathological fractures can all cause neurological diseases and symptoms. Nervous system symptoms are diverse and can be manifested as peripheral neuropathy and radicular syndrome, as well as central nervous system symptoms. Compression pathological fractures of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae can cause paraplegia.
