Ectopic rhythm
Gastric Dysrhythmia syndrome refers to a group of symptoms of nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and bloating caused by gastric motility rhythm disturbance or too fast. Patients may have irregular paced potential (pp) release or rapid rhythm, or even ectopic rhythm in the distal gastric antrum, which causes pp to propagate backwards and cause proximal gastric antrum, and severe vomiting or retching.
