Stasis accumulation
Stasis accumulation is common in crush syndrome. Post-traumatic blood and tissue protein destruction and decomposition of toxic intermediate metabolites are absorbed into the blood and cause acute tubular necrosis after trauma and acute renal failure caused by it. This is a common cause of late-onset deaths in patients with extensive soft tissue contusion. Due to damage to the flesh, blood from the veins, accumulation of blood stasis, stasis of qi and blood, occlusion of the meridians, local pain, swelling of the limbs, indentation and hardening of the skin, subcutaneous blood stasis, increased skin tension, and blisters around the skin form. Due to internal injuries such as qi and blood, meridians, and internal organs, the patient developed symptoms such as dizziness, loss of appetite, loss of complexion, chest tightness, abdominal distension, and constipation.
