Elevated blood sugar
The sugar in the blood is called blood sugar, and in most cases it is glucose. Most of the energy required for cell activities in the body comes from glucose, so blood glucose must be maintained at a certain level to maintain the needs of various organs and tissues in the body. The fasting blood glucose concentration of normal people in the early morning is 80-120 mg. Fasting blood glucose over 130 mg is called hyperglycemia. If the blood glucose concentration exceeds 160-180 mg, a part of the glucose is excreted with urine, which is called diabetes. Elevated blood sugar is common in diabetes.
