Refractory hypertension
Introduction: After treatment with antihypertensive drugs, the blood pressure of most patients with hypertension can be controlled to a satisfactory level, while a small number of patients with hypertension have continued to increase their diastolic blood pressure at 15.2kPa despite receiving a larger dose of drug combination (115mm Hg) or more, which is called refractory hypertension.
