Pineal calcification translocation
Pineal calcification is common in adults and is more likely to occur with age. Approximately 75% of normal adults show pineal calcification on CT scans. Its diameter usually ranges from 3 to 5 mm, but sometimes it may be wider. The pineal gland has a large calcification area, which is shifted and appears in children. The possibility of tumors in the pineal gland should be considered.
