Esophageal wall fibrosis
Esophageal wall fibrosis refers to chronic repeated damage to esophagitis that can cause destruction and fibrosis of the entire esophagus, causing esophageal stricture. Esophagitis refers to inflammation caused by edema and congestion of the esophageal mucosa due to abnormal stimulation of the superficial or deep tissues of the esophageal mucosa.
