Damage above the glottis

Above glottic injury is a clinical manifestation of open neck injury. Hydatid cartilage dislocation and glottis or hematomas above and below the glottis also have hoarseness or loss of sound, and sometimes larynx may occur during inhalation. Patients often complain of swallowing pain, difficulty swallowing, weak cough, and inability to turn their head.
