Umbilical paroxysmal colic
The sudden severe abdominal pain persists, or changes from paroxysmal colic to persistent abdominal pain. The location of the pain is relatively fixed. If the abdominal pain involves the back, it indicates that the mesentery is stretched, and it is more likely that it is strangulated bowel obstruction.
