Decrease in bladder capacity

Bladder volume refers to the amount of urine in the bladder when you have a urge to urinate and are eager to urinate. Under normal circumstances, the volume of urine discharged at one time is the bladder volume. Residual urine refers to the amount of residual urine that cannot be excreted in the bladder after urination. With residual urine, the volume of urine excreted does not equal the volume of the bladder. At this time, the bladder volume = ten residual urine volumes at one time. The capacity of a normal bladder is about 400m1. During bladder inflammation, the bladder volume is less than 200m1. The volume of tuberculous bladder can be as small as 10m1.
