Pediatric heart failure

The definition of general heart failure (heart failure) is a pathophysiology concept, that is, heart failure is a cardiac dysfunction, and the cardiac output cannot meet the needs of the body. Clinically, heart failure is a severe stage of various heart diseases. It is a syndrome and consists of 4 parts: cardiac dysfunction, decreased exercise tolerance, congestion of the lungs and systemic circulation, and arrhythmia in the later stages. Cardiac dysfunction is an indispensable condition for heart failure, and the other three parts are the clinical manifestations of the cardiac insufficiency compensation mechanism.
