Leg cramps in older people
Some elderly people experience leg cramps during sleep at night or during the day. There are many causes of leg cramps in the elderly. Usually people always associate leg cramps with calcium deficiency, because calcium deficiency does cause leg cramps. However, leg cramps are not always caused by calcium deficiency, and leg cramps are caused by poor blood circulation in the leg.
