Degenerative changes in cervical spine

Cervical spine degenerative disease is an aging phenomenon in humans. When people are over 30 years of age, aging and degradation will gradually occur. The cervical spine will also produce various aging, which are manifested by cervical degeneration, bone hyperplasia, increased friability, joint capsule elasticity loss, cervical disc degeneration, etc. The blood vessels produce compression and stimulation, and some of the nerves in our head come from the cervical nerve. If a degenerative disease occurs in the cervical spine, the nerves passing here will be affected, causing headaches. Neck headaches in young people are mostly caused by long hours of studying and working at their desks. The neck muscles continue to contract in order to maintain a bowed posture. The muscles are tense and the neck muscles spasm can release some that can cause pain. Substances that cause head pain. Corresponding clinical symptoms and signs caused by the involvement of adjacent tissues (spinal cord, nerve root, vertebral artery, sympathetic nerve) caused by degenerative changes of cervical intervertebral discs and secondary degenerative changes of intervertebral joints. Cervical vertebral segment has obvious degenerative changes is a clinical manifestation of cervical spine wedge compression fracture. Cervical vertebral body wedge compression fractures are more common clinically, and the symptoms are mild. Violence mainly affects the anterior vertebral column, so it is mostly stable. There may also be a small number of cases with posterior facet joint dislocation and vertebral instability (mostly with spinal cord injury). Care should be taken in handling.
