Proximal tubule involvement
An elongated epithelial tubule connected to the renal capsule wall layer has reabsorption and excretion effects. The renal tubule is divided into three parts according to different morphological structures, distribution locations and functions; proximal tubules, thin segments and distal tubules. The proximal tubule can be divided into straight and curved parts. Its curved part, also known as the proximal curved tubule, is located in the cortical labyrinth and is highly curved near the renal corpuscle.
